Notifications and Preferences
User Email Notifications
You will be able to customize the email notifications that the users in your organisation will receive when a sales order is placed, cancelled, or returned.
To setup and customise an email notification:
- Click the Gear icon in the top right corner of the page.
- Click User Email Notifications.
- Click Order Received to customize the email when a new sales order is placed.

Click Order Cancelled to customize the email when a sales order is cancelled.
(OR)
Click Order Returned to customize the email when a sales order is returned. - Click Show Mail Content.
- You can customise the font and placeholders within the body of the email.
- Click Save.
Disable User Email Notification
You can disable User Email Notifications for a specific action. Here’s how:
- Click the Gear icon in the top right corner of the page.
- Click User Email Notifications.
- Click Order Received.

Click Order Cancelled.
(OR)
Click Order Returned. - Click Disable on the top right corner.
- Click Yes.
Notification Preferences
There are multiple notification channels through which Vikra Seller allows you to send notifications . It is not necessary that the users in your organisation need to be notified through all mediums. You can customise how and when users get notified.
Currently, Vikra Seller sends notifications when:
- A network logistics partner ticket is resolved.
- A sales order is received.
- A sales order is cancelled.
- A sales order is returned.
- A customer raises a ticket.
There are three channels through which notifications can be sent. They are:
- SMS
To configure notification preferences:
- Click the Gear icon in the top right corner of the page.
- Click Configure under an event.
- Click Add User in the user preferences section.
- Select a user.
- Check the WHATSAPP, SMS, and EMAIL checkboxes to turn on notifications for the specific channels for the selected users.
- Click Save
Disable Notifications
You can disable notifications altogether for all the channels for a specific event. Here’s how:
- Click the Gear icon in the top right corner of the page.
- Turn off the toggle adjacent to an event.
Note: Users will still receive in-app notifications even if the notifications toggled if turned off for a specific event.
